HH sent me home Wednesday at three because I wasn’t “smiling enough.” She said that a customer told her that I was “rude and harsh” to her. The customer said that I told her that I couldn’t take her credit card, she tried the card again, and it went through. This is what actually happened: the transaction came up “Call for authorization.” I said, “I’m sorry, but the machine won’t let me run the charge through. I can call, or you can try another card.” She tried a different card, and it went through. HH told me that she believed me, and that they weren’t picking on me, but that if I couldn’t fake being happy, then I needed to go home. Faaabulous. Because the bitch didn’t pay her credit card bill and got embarassed I couldn’t put crazy clown smile on my face, I had to lose four hours’ pay.
