You found my blog through dooce.com and posted, and here we were damn neighbours for almost two years. (the lake of which I speak often is Oscawana, up off Route 6 in PV) I can totally sympathize with "getting enough of me back" though I'm not bipolar myself. I was treated for 8 years for serious depression (after 14 hellish years of just thinking I was doomed to be a moody psycho forever) when it finally dawned on a new doctor (one in Putnam Hospital Center in Brewster, in fact) that I was exhibiting many of the classic symptoms that some people diagnose as borderline personality disorder. It's a weird array of symptoms, most of which are more annoying than you can possibly imagine, even when I take my Effexor faithfully. Fortunately, it's more under control than it's ever been, thanks to the sobering effects of my last brush with it. Anyhoo, thought I'd come by and say hi! My incredible shrinking world.
